Noah on guitar

Never too early to start - he LOVES it when Daddy plays his guitar!

Cloth diapering for special needs

Any moms out there with experience using cloth diapers for special needs kids? Gracie is 43 pounds (gained 3 pounds in a year and grew a few inches - now QUITE 7 years old!) and I'm looking for a good option for cloth diapering her in Uganda. She has the shape of a 7 year old so regular cloth diapers aren't the right shape for her even if they're almost big enough. And I prefer a snap style diaper rather than a pull-up. Thoughts?

Water table

This fantastic water play table was found at the Whittaker Center in Harrisburg, PA. Isn't this fantastic? The four month old can ALSO play in the water by sitting in a baby seat that is recessed into the table. yes, he still ended up a bit wet but mostly because of his sleeves!

Kids' Journey Journal

Pittsburgh Children's Museum - exploring air/wind with Daddy. The kids LOVE going to children's museums! Coloring time with the cousins - don't eat the crayons, Gracie! Nature walks with the cousins during the warm December days. Learning time with Mama Mac who intuitively knows how to draw Gracie into a group activity. Gracie was very proud of herself as she picked up gravel with her mittens on! Story time with mommy and daddy Ana practicing violin - cutie pie!

The journey

Finally... internet! (but we have to pay for it - argh!) Our support-raising journey is going well... we're in VA Beach now - staring at the cold beach, but glad to be "down south" where it is ever so slightly warmer than New England! The kids have done amazingly on our long car rides, staying in various homes, and keeping a full schedule. I'll try to post photos later on today and give some details about what we've been up to.
